SECURITY INITIATIVE
With the unfortunate onslaught of shopping centre robberies in Gauteng making headline new recently, the South African Council of Shopping Centres, a partner of the Shopping Centre Security Initiate provides you with “A Guideline to Dealing with the media after a robbery”. It is imperative that teams are trained for these situations and that they are able to deal with the media.
For further information on the Shopping Centre Security Initiative from Jenny Irish, read SACSC - Attention all Shopping Centre Management & Owners.
WHO ARE WE ?
The South African Council of Shopping Centres (SACSC) was officially launched following its first Congress in 1991. Until March 2000 it was operated under the aegis of the South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) as an autonomous body. When it became independent of SAPOA it formed a Section 21 Company in terms of the Companies Act and has its own constitution and code of conduct.
